(don't) want to cry.  I eat when I socialize and I eat when I'm alone and bored.  I LOVE to eat, and if I'm feeling an emotion, good or bad, my first instinct is to turn to food.

Notice I'm not using the past tense.  Even though I've learned how to create a fit and healthy body, I will always be an emotional eater.   It's a lot like being an alcoholic or drug addict; it never goes away.  That's the very first secret to success.  Accepting that your journey has no destination; it has no end.  Once you can accept that your journey is forever, the resentment and bitterness can be released and you can embrace your new lifestyle.  You will never be able to eat anything you want and as much as you want without gaining weight.  Never.  Once you can accept that fact, you will be ready to begin your transformation.  That's what it took for me to succeed in my transformation over 15 years ago.  Now, instead of feeling like a caterpillar, I feel like a beautiful, light and free butterfly.  Not just any butterfly, but the strongest and most enduring butterfly, the Monarch.

I'm not going to tell you my method for losing weight is the only one that works; I hate that type of gimmick.  There are a lot of good weight loss systems out there as well as a lot of great health and fitness leaders ready and willing to help you.  What I will tell you is that my method is different, because we won't start by focusing on your weight.  My method is called The Monarch Effect because it is about transformation from the inside out.   You and I will partner to discover the various limiting thoughts, beliefs, actions, and words that you have that are holding youback from being the person you want to be.   Together, we will identify your strengths, recognize your successes, overcome your barriers, and build a foundation of hope, love, and self confidence that will enable you to succeed at transforming your body and, ultimately, your life.  Once you realize you are worth fighting for, you will win the war against fat and go from feeling like a caterpillar to feeling and living like a butterfly.
